Four Seasons Summer Petite ring in 14-carat gold with amethyst, sky-blue topaz, pink amethyst, pink sapphire, Ceylon sapphire, ruby, tsavorite, sapphire and a 0.005 ct brilliant-cut diamond (W, SI).
- Centre stone: An emerald-cut amethyst forms the centrepiece of the ring’s gemstone composition.
- Colour composition: The gemstones range in colour from purple, pink, blue, green and red tones.
- Stone composition: Smaller gemstones and diamonds are arranged around the amethyst, following its shape.
In Four Seasons Summer Petite, Mads Ziegler takes the amethyst as his starting point; with its rectangular cut, it forms the centrepiece of the design. Surrounding the stone are smaller gemstones in a variety of colours and sizes, where sky-blue topaz, pink amethyst, pink sapphire, Ceylon sapphire, ruby, tsavorite and sapphire come together with a single brilliant-cut diamond.
Whilst the centre stone’s cut adds clean lines, the round stones surrounding it create a shift in shape and proportion. The 14-carat gold band is kept simple, allowing the stone composition to draw attention to the front of the ring. Four Seasons Summer Petite continues the Four Seasons universe’s exploration of coloured gemstones in a smaller format.
